I cannot say enough good things about Danny Greenberg. He has been a part of our lives since my daughter was 7 years old. Danny is a jack of all trades. Although he was primarily Ayla’s vocal coach, at times he was also her acting coach and tap teacher. What I love about Danny is how he meets all his students where they are at and values each one.

He emphasizes strong technique as well as authenticity and honesty in one’s work. I attribute most of Ayla’s success in reaching her goals and Broadway dreams to the work that she did with Danny. We are so grateful to him and all the knowledge and support he has shared with us over the past 7 years. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio and Danny Greenberg!

Admission Auditions

Danny has held a nurturing and trusting space for my child to safely navigate the high schools audition path. He is so kind, generous and honest. His skill at teaching, which I sometimes got to observe, really pushed my daughter out of her comfort zone in order to go deeper into the acting process. He also gave us feedback about schools, as they might fit our daughter, based on what he hears from students and on what he sees them bringing back in their work with him.

And he helped us with filming, which was such as a relief as I know nothing about the theater world. I’m grateful for my child to know Danny and to have cultivated this relationship with him as a mentor and caring soul.

Danny did a terrific job helping my daughter prepare for her middle school vocals audition. He helped her see the value of choosing a song she’d already learned and practiced in an earlier group class, and then he worked with her to increase her confidence singing it on her own without accompaniment. Danny’s enthusiasm and love of music infuses everything he does.

He’s a wonderful teacher and his commitment to the kids is outstanding.

We knew Danny when he first started Park Slope Conservatory. My daughter had been working with him for voice and theatre lessons. We were so excited that she could attend classes with other students and learn more in a small and cozy group environment. Summer camp and after school classes combine skills such as acting, singing and dance.

Danny brings in professionals from Broadway to assist and my daughter loved this! PSC also works closely with the community offering opportunities to give back. Last year, we had private sessions to assist in the grueling high school audition process. I can’t thank Danny enough for all his knowledge, expertise and kindness, my daughter was accepted to a great drama program. We are lucky to be a part of the PSC family.

Local Students

Danny is not only an incredible voice teacher but a great person as well. My daughter has been taking lessons with him since she was 5 years old and adores him. He is great with kids.

He is very experienced and knows how to challenge my daughter while still making it fun. Her voice has grown so much from him. We have had a handful of voice teachers and he has always been her favorite. I highly recommend him.

Mother of long time student

My daughter’s experience with Danny has but nothing short of phenomenal! She has grownexponentially both in skill and confidence. Danny’s approach to vocal training is science-based with an incredible interpersonal touch that creates a safe, fun, and productive atmosphere.

He is a pleasure to work and communicate with. I feel that my daughter is truly in the best hands with Danny and cannot recommend him enough.

Danny’s instruction, mentorship and guidance has helped Lily cultivate a passion that brings her true joy. I have seen Lily’s happiness grow while working with Danny, and, in my mind, there is no greater compliment I can give than that.

Danny has helped to reinforce that being a good person, being true to yourself , having a love of learning and a positive attitude is what it’s all about.

Group Classes

After one semester of singing and drama with Danny and his team, my 7 year old son has absolutely loved the experience. Danny has been so thoughtful about each student individually and their strengths, fears, what motivates them, it’s really remarkable. There’s a focus of course on music and skill and creativity but there’s a foundation of support and acceptance both in the class and (Covid aside) the community which I think makes this place really special.

Danny Greenberg is one of those one in a million people who just beam with kindness, sincerity and a genuine love for what he does. Our daughter has enjoyed every minute working with him after discovering her love for music and singing and she has come a long way. He gently guides the kids into confidence while teaching a solid work ethic while giving them a safe place to discover themselves and their talents. It is hands down our daughter’s favorite class as well as the acting class. Every child should get the opportunity to work with Danny. His love for kids and passion for the arts is contagious! There is such joy in his classroom. Thanks Danny! You are truly a unicorn and Park Slope Conservancy is truly a special place for kids to be themselves, find their inner voice and learn from the best!
